Some would say it’s a week late but South Carolina is officially in the College Football Playoff Top 25. The Gamecocks made their debut in the 2024 CFP rankings Tuesday checking in at No. 21 this week after being left out of last week’s inaugural rankings of the season.

Clemson goes on to win ACC. The Tigers need to beat Pitt this weekend and hope Miami loses to Wake Forest or Syracuse to have a shot. The playoff committee would likely ditch the Hurricanes with another loss and the ACC would be a one-bid league.
