Mumbai: The first underground metro rail in the Maharashtra capital is all set to begin operations for the general public starting today, October 7. The Mumbai Metro Line 3 was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 5 and MetroConnect3 app was also launched for the commuters.

Mumbai’s first underground Metro corridor, the aqua line's phase-1 from Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) to Aarey, opened to the public. Services will run from 6.30 am to 10.30 pm on weekdays and from 8.30 am to 10.
