Many fans of Lady Gaga have expressed disappointment on social media following the release of "Joker: Folie à Deux" as it appears a few scenes Gaga shot for the film did not end up making it into the final theatrical cut.

They then showed two shots from the trailers which didn’t make the final film, as well as a fan recording of a public set. The public set showed Lee, Gaga’s version of Harley Quinn, kissing a random member of the public on her way into court to support Arthur (aka the Joker).

Lady Gaga once sang, “I wanna kiss you.” She channeled that energy into Joker: Folie à Deux, where her character, Harley “Lee” Quinn, shared a kiss with another woman. However, the scene ended up being nixed from the final cut.

Joker: Folie à Deux is a 2024 American musical psychological thriller by Warner Bros. It's the long-awaited sequel to 2019's Joker, directed by Todd Phillips, and it sees Joaquin Phoenix reprise the role of Arthur Fleck (aka Joker).
