This CBS sitcom from the universe of ‘The Big Bang Theory’ follows Sheldon Cooper’s older brother living with his wife, baby and in-laws.

Young Sheldon fans have been worried about Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage – but George will return, in a manner of speaking.

As fans will recall, George Sr. died in the final episodes of Young Sheldon from an unexpected heart attack. Now, as Georgie faces the challenge of being a young father and husband, that element of grief will be included. One way it will be featured is through Missy’s ( Raegan Revord) return as she gets into trouble at school.

Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage, a spinoff of Young Sheldon, will premiere on CBS on October 17, 2024. The show will follow Georgie and Mandy as they navigate marriage and parenthood.

Created by Steve Holland, Chuck Lorre, and Steven Molaro, CBS’ ‘Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage’ is a spin-off of ‘Young Sheldon,’ which in turn is a spin-off of ‘The Big Bang Theory.’ The show centers on Georgie and Mandy as they move into her parents’ house and start a life together.

The Big Bang Theory universe is expanding again — while also returning to its sitcom roots — with Young Sheldon spinoff Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage (premiering Thursday, Oct. 17 at 8/7c on CBS).
