The Professional Woman’s Hockey League and Electronic Arts have signed a multi-year deal regarding future EA Sports NHL games. Under the deal, players can expect to see representation of female hockey players and teams in EA Sports NHL 25 and possibly future hockey sims from the developer.

NHL 25 is slated to get a sizable content update at the end of the year, thanks to a partnership with the Professional Women's Hockey League.

PWHL women’s ice hockey competition will be integrated into various online and offline modes on EA Sports NHL 25.

In addition to PWHL integration, EA Sports will introduce new ways to play NHL 25, including NHL Arcade this Friday, November 15 and 4 Nations Face-Off content arriving early next year, coinciding with the mid-season international tournament featuring NHL stars from Canada, Finland, Sweden and the USA.
