Original Wicked stars Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth have unveiled a first official look at their surprise cameos in the new movie.

Menzel and Chenoweth, who originated the roles of Elphaba and Glinda on Broadway, made surprise appearances in the new musical movie

Menzel’s only stipulation for her cameo was to “just make us look pretty,” she told Entertainment Weekly. On Instagram, she praised the cast, including Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, calling the film “spectacular” and “extremely moving.”

But what about the stars of the original Broadway musical, Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth, who originated the roles of Elphaba and Glinda, and can fans of the original musical expect to see the famous original performers in the theatrical motion picture?
