The U.S. 50 Middle Bridge in Gunnison is finally reopened to two-way traffic after half a year of construction and closures due to a crack in the bridge.

A highway bridge in Gunnison has fully reopened after it was closed for months for repairs. Colorado Department of Transportation says some construction work remains to be completed but traffic delays are not expected.

After seven months of closure, a bridge in Gunnison will reopen. The Colorado Department of Transportation announced the full reopening of the US 50 Middle Bridge to two-way travel on Wednesday. Flaggers and pilot cars are expected to end midday when both lanes will open for travel.
