For a player of his size, Zach Edey rarely picked up fouls in college. The 7-4 center fouled out of one game as a freshman and zero in his last three seasons at Purdue. So it was a surprise when Edey became the first player since the NBA-ABA merger to start his NBA debut but foul out after playing 15 minutes or less.

Zach Edey turned in his finest performance of the season to help lead the Grizzlies in a loss on the road against the Nets on Monday.
