Wicketkeeper-batter Jitesh Sharma was among the several players who were in high demand at the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) auction last month.

R Ashwin has claimed that he can see Virat Kohli return as the captain of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in IPL 2025. Kohli relinquished the role as skipper of the franchise in 2022 and is now expected to return after the 2025 auction.

"In all likelihood, I think Virat Kohli is going to captain that side. That's the feeling I get because they haven't gone for a captain. Unless and until they are going to go with somebody else. I don't see anyone other than Virat as captain," Ashwin said in a video posted on his official YouTube handle.
