Following the musical finale of Fortnite Remix, Epic has revealed the next chapter of the battle royale. Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1: Hunters begins on December 1, 2024, featuring everyone's favorite kaiju: Godzilla.

As Fortnite’s current season draws to a close, Epic Games is teasing what’s next. In addition to a new season, Fortnite will be kicking off a brand-new chapter with its next major update. Chapter 6 Season 1 begins on December 1, 2024, and will include collaborations with Godzilla and Big Hero 6.

Epic Games confirms the official release date for Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1, along with a first look at the upcoming update via new keyart.

As it turns out, this Japanese theme extends well beyond its map design, and into its Battle Pass contents. According to recently-released Chapter 6 Season 1 artwork, this season will feature a crossover with two characters who hail from Japan: Baymax from Big Hero 6 and Godzilla from the Toho’s Godzilla franchise.

Epic Games has officially confirmed that Godzilla and Baymax will be crossing over in Fortnite Chapter 6, following a number of leaks over the weekend.

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1: Hunters will begin on Sunday, December 1, 2024. However, Epic hasn't revealed the exact times for when it will go live. The new season is scheduled to go live soon after the Fortnite Remix The Finale live event, which takes place on November 30, 2024, at 2 pm and 10 pm (repeat telecast) ET.

Disney characters, powerful superheroes, and even rap artists have entered the Island, and the roster is about to grow bigger in Chapter 6. Through a mix of official announcements and leaks, the community has a pretty good idea of what to expect throughout 2025.

Fortnite’s Chapter 6 Season 1 has seemingly started to leak online via promo artwork and images. And if the leaks are accurate, which they seem to be, then Godzilla, as well as Baymax from Big Hero 6,

The leak appears to be of a promotional graphic meant for a convention booth — potentially next month’s CCXP, if the presence of Portuguese in the image is a clue — and depicts both an American-style Godzilla and Big Hero 6 robot Baymax in his red Super Armor alongside a bunch of what we can only assume are original Fortnite characters also being added in the first season of Chapter 6.
