Cloudy skies and scattered showers will kick off a cooler, wetter weekend in the Colorado Springs area. Highs in the upper 60s are in the forecast for Friday; lows will continue to hover in the lower 40s, and thunderstorms are possible all weekend, according to forecasters.

The high country will be getting a taste of winter this weekend, potentially seeing as much as 2 feet of snow in some of our southern mountains.
