A teen driver is dead and two other people including his 13-year-old passenger suffered life-threatening injuries in a head-on crash in Butler County early Thursday, according to the sheriff’s office.

WAYNE TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WXIX) - One person is dead and two are seriously hurt in a head-on early morning crash in Butler County, according to the sheriff’s office. It happened at 6:30 a.m. on West Elkton Road, dispatchers tell FOX19 NOW. A motorist driving behind one of the vehicles involved saw the crash and reported it to the county’s 911 center.

The 16-year-old driver of the Pontiac died from his injuries on the scene. The teen’s passenger, a 13-year-old girl, was flown to Dayton Children’s Hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries. The Chevrolet’s driver, identified as a 60-year-old man, was flown to Miami Valley Hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries.

Two people are dead and two others are seriously injured after a wrong-way crash Thursday on I-15 near the I-70 interchange in Millard County, the Utah Highway Patrol said.
