Queen Camilla is adjusting to being the queen consort, but the royal isn't enthusiastic about eventually giving up her position once Prince William and Kate Middleton ascend to the throne. According to a source,

Prince William is reportedly “putting his foot down” to protect Kate Middleton and slow down her return to work, despite the Princess of Wales being keen to get back to her duties. There’s one “dreadful habit” at Christmas time that Prince William picked up from Princess Diana.

A source tells the outlet that the Queen “loves her responsibilities” and “her whole life, she has always wanted to be queen, so she doesn’t want to let it go so fast.” Apparently, Camilla also isn't thrilled about passing on her duties to Kate Middleton, as the pair have “always had a tense relationship.” Oooookay!
