Janey Godley found surprising fame with her impression of Nicola Sturgeon's COVID-19 news briefings during the pandemic.

The service at St Mary's Cathedral in Glasgow saw family and friends wear colourful outfits and ended with her catchphrase "Frank, get the door".

Former First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, Still Game's Gavin Mitchell, River City's Tom Urie and comic Susie McCabe were amongst those in attendance to pay tribute to Janey, who tragically passed away at the Princess of Wales Hospice in Glasgow on November 2 following a battle with ovarian cancer.

The hearse carrying the coffin of comedian Janey Godley took part in a 'final tour' of Edinburgh ahead of her funeral. Godley, 63, died on November 2 after receiving palliative treatment for terminal cancer.

A hearse carrying Janey’s coffin began it's journey through the city from Lawnmarket at 2:30pm on Friday. The coffin continued down the Royal Mile towards St Giles Cathedral.
