Darby Allin and Jon Moxley will clash in a high-stakes match at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam. Moxley has been on a mission in recent weeks, as he has aligned with PAC, Claudio Castagnoli, and Marina Shafir.

Jon Moxley is getting impatient. Moxley and Marina Shafir entered the arena in tough fashion, with Shafir mowing down multiple people in her path. Once they got to the ring, Moxley took to the microphone and reflected on his first AEW match with Darby Allin back in 2019.

Allin will not challenge for the World title at Grand Slam, instead putting his title shot on the line against Moxley.

Taiji Ishimori is interested in a match with Darby Allin at Wrestle Dynasty in January 2025. Speaking with Tokyo Sports, Ishimori expressed his desire to face off against Allin on the crossover pay-per-view event. He said,

Bryan Danielson was supposed to face Darby Allin for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship at AEW Grand Slam in two weeks time, but Jon Moxley had plans of his own. Moxley has been calling out Darby Allin for weeks and on the 9/11 episode of Dynamite we finally found out what the former AEW World Champion wanted to talk about.

During the opening segment of this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, MJF bloodied Daniel Garcia prior to their All Out 2024 match. As the show came on the air, Garcia headed to the ring to say that he wasn’t waiting until All Out 2024.

He’s been looking for Allin, and on the Sept. 11 Dynamite we found out why. The answer seems to have caused some changes to the card for New York in two weeks, as business picks up in the World title scene.
