GOSHEN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) - A memorial near the site of a deadly crash in Goshen Township continues to grow as friends and family gather to grieve the loss of their loved ones.

OSHP said Mathew Penny, 25, was driving a 2005 Chrysler 300 — which had three other occupants — northeast on State Route 28 around 1:45 a.m. when he struck 43-year-old Dustin McDole's 2007 Subaru Legacy — which had one other occupant — that was being driven northwest on Edenton Pleasant Plain Road.

5 people dead following Clermont County crash identified
CLERMONT COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) - Police said five people are dead following a multiple vehicle crash in Clermont County. Police responded to a multiple vehicle crash near the intersection of Ohio 28 and Edenton-Pleasant Plain Road in Goshen at around 2 a.m. Police reported two involved vehicles and confirmed five people were killed.
Police rescue over 40 animals from Clermont County woman’s home
In total, police confiscated 39 dogs, five donkeys and two cats from Shatto’s home. According to the police report, the estimated cost of care for the dogs and cats would be $35,000, and $4,000 for the donkeys within one month. The dogs and cats are currently at the Clermont County Animal Shelter and the donkeys are at Fighting Chance Rescue.
Family, friends grieve 5 killed in Clermont County crash; 1 in critical condition
Among them was Penny and his two passengers, 18-year-old Clermont High Junior Dezmen Jernigan and 20-year-old daycare worker Chloe Love. A third passenger, 18-year-old Ayden Taylor, was taken to the hospital where he remains with life-threatening injuries.
