MARLBOROUGH, Massachusetts — BJ’s Wholesale Club announced it will increase its membership fees at the beginning of the year, the chain’s first increase in seven years. A news release from BJ’s says the “Club” membership fee will increase by $5 to $60 per year, while the “Club+” membership will increase by $10 to $120 a year.

The cost of a BJ’s Wholesale Club membership will get pricier in January, when the company plans to raise its standard membership to $60 and its Club+ membership to $120.
