No. I don't believe there is a glass bridge, or other type of platform that sticks out from the building. There are 2 floors where you can take photos. The lower floor, of the two, is enclosed by glass and heated. This is where you can sit at tables and order food and drinks. The upper floor is open and you can feel the wind and rain, if that happens to be the weather that day. They encourage you to take photos and shoot video. There isn't a time limit so you can stay as long as you like too.

Hiya! I think it all comes down to how busy they are on the day. You can ask them if thats ok, but they do scan your tickets upon entry. Try and go on a weekday where it is less likely to be busy, so they are more likely to probably say yes. I went on a busy day, so I would say that they were only letting people in only at there time they had allocated for them.

If I eat at one of the restarants at the Shard, do I still need to buy a ticket for the viewing deck? And about how much time do you spend on the viewing deck? Thank you!
A:
Eating at one of the restaurants in the Shard does not give you access to the observation deck which will cost extra. The restaurants are located about half way up the Shard.
